Roles @ Fortress

Sales Manager

The sales manager is responsible for setting and executing sales strategies. This individual leads the sales team to create growth in company revenue.

Sales Engineer/Business Analyst

Sales engineers and business analysts work with customers to understand their true business needs. These individuals then work closely with the technical team to design solutions that will meet the customer’s requirements.

Account Manager

Account managers are responsible for generating new growth and new customer opportunities. Account managers also work closely with customer to maintain positive relationships and maintain customer satisfaction on a business level.

Inside Sales Agent

Inside sales agents work with customers and vendors to match customer business needs with the correct hardware and software technologies.

Purchasing and Logistics Agent

Purchasing and logistics agents are responsible for executing the sourcing and delivery of products that customers have purchased.

Service Manager

The service manager is responsible for managing technical staff, ensuring that sufficient resources are present to satisfy customer demand and address any escalated service issues.

Project Manager

Project managers work with customers and technical staff to deliver the solutions that sales engineers/business analysts have designed.

Network Analyst

Network analysts are responsible for installing, troubleshooting and administering IT infrastructure such as firewalls, servers, routers and switches. This includes both support and project work.

Desktop Analyst

Desktop analysts are responsible for installing, troubleshooting and administer IT infrastructure such as desktops, applications and printers. This includes both support and project work.

Help Desk/Service Coordinator

This is NOT a traditional help desk role. The service coordinator responds to a large variety of issues and acts as a central point of communication for the customers and entire technical team.

Systems Architect

The systems architect is responsible for taking the requirements from the business analyst and designing a software architecture that will meet those needs.

Developer

Developers are responsible from implementing the plans systems architects to create applications that meet customer needs.
